INTRODUCTION TO PUBLIC SECTOR TENDERING

Have you ever wondered how you can get tender opportunities with the Public Sector? Are you an SME who is trying to break into this marketplace?  Are you confused by the process that you may have heard about? Are you exploiting all the Public Sector clients in your business market strategy?

This course is designed to answer these types of question and to specifically give a broad overview of the process and potential opportunities to help you in your decision making process. It is part of a suite of topics that are intended to help businesses to engage more fully with the Public Sector in an economic format.

The key focus of the course will be to give an overview of the public Sector tendering process, to help you assess if you want to engage with it and what you need to consider if you do engage with it.

The key aspects that will be covered, as part of the course will be:

·      EU tender background

·      Understanding the process

·      Setting up your links with the process

·      How prepared are you for engaging with the requirements?

·      The Assessment Process

·      How can you improve your chances?

It is run as a half-day course so that your time out of the office is not too excessive, but it can be linked with the Starting Up courses running on the same day to make a meaningful start to the process if that is your desire?
